In the first of many planned interviews, I’m chatting with business owner Emma Hanney from Stamped With Love all about the ups and down of launching and running a small business as a creator.
We cover the notion that you can’t start a creative business unless you’re creative (ot true), how to succeed despite already having competition, the highs and lows of using Etsy and how to juggle your business if you still have a full time job and kids.

So sorry to hear of Emma’s bad experiences but heartened by the fact she has kept powering through.
As an artist I have found the virtual spaces I inhabit to be very kind. Perhaps no one sees me as a threat!
I also sell on Etsy which I love but it does keep changing and I sometimes wonder how some people can sell for such low prices. Of course I can’t compete with that. Loving the podcasts Vicki
Fab interview and wow so so scary that you nearly quit twice, I’m so glad you went back to it, and defo you can only rely on your own site not on a third party selling site
